Passionate About Inspiring Others

Jaye Miller was born November 26, 1962 in the small city of Tuskegee, Alabama but moved to Hampton Virginia at the age of 12. Jaye attended Hampton University (formerly Hampton Institute) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She wanted to pursue a career in public relations and writing. Although she did some freelance writing for local magazines, she did not make a career of it.

A year after graduating from Hampton she was picked up by the Federal

government at Fort Monroe, Virginia. Ms. Miller has worked for the federal

government for 30 plus years in the Information and Technology department.

She is presently a Project Manager in the IT arena at the DFAS here in Indianapolis.

Through her government tenure, she has had the opportunity to live in several

states and countries such as Germany and Korea. Her travels have boosted her

knowledge of people and her appreciation for diversity and acceptance.

 

Ms. Miller is very versed in her education, talents in public speaking and very

active within the community. She has earned 3 Master Degrees. They are in

Project Management, Information Systems, and Telecommunications.

Her

education does not stop there. Ms. Miller has completed all course work towards a

Doctoral degree in Leadership and Organizational Management. She has also

served as an adjunct instructor with Vincennes University and speaks at

conferences and events as a Motivational/Inspirational speaker and offers

workshops such as Diversity Thinking, Communications, and Growing Yourself to

name a few.

In her spare time, she loves to support the non-profit organization L.A.D.I.E.S. Inc.

This organization allows her to help develop and inspire ladies and to give back to

the community. Her energies will now also be going into the growth of her new

organization – KNOW YOUR WORTH Inc. When time allows Jaye enjoys

traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. Her main goal

in life is to be happy and to have PEACE and to help others find that PEACE so

they can live fulfilling lives. Ms. Miller gives credit for all her success and

happiness to God Almighty.
